| This DVD movie Meet the Parents was non-stop fun. Many people expected more from this film, but we really have to pay attention to what they say the players and there are a lot of little things that happen to be very funny. I thought that Robert De Niro has performed very well in a surprising role that I did not think would make good on him because he is good in many different roles, but he did a lot. I thought that the story is excellent, because there's so much you can do with this kind of history. Reunion of the parents is not easy to do and a lot of things can go wrong during that visit. I thought this was a great Meet the Parents Comedy film and I recommend this Meet the Parents movie to all viewers who like Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller and laugh as throughout the film. I give this one two thumbs up! |
| Strange to say that "Robert De Niro is the star of this comedy," but that's the case here. You do not normally associate with him the comedy, but it is a very versatile player and can play much more than mafia-type characters thugs. He is also a pretty darned good comedian, as demonstrated for the first time way back to the early 80s with Rupert Pupkin in "The King of Comedy." Still, De Niro and Ben Stiller make a lot of laughs in this modern era comedy. It makes no sense to go into details because there are many other comments here. I hate to see the "hero" is a Meet the Parents Comedy movie character who is a chronic liar (Stiller in "Greg Focker"), but that is not unusual in the world of movies. That, Blythe Danner and the excessive use of the name of God as exclamations are annoying. Apart from that, it's a fun Meet the Parents Comedy that turned out to be a success and rightly so. I imagine you could get a lot of laughs watching this over and over again. That would be better to see the sequel. |
| This is so far the largest DVD movie Meet the Parents of the decade, is great.Robert De Niro personally that I thought I would have been too serious for an actor, but this DivX Movie Meet the Parents was a great person to Stiller as Jack Byrnes.Ben was also a great asset for the film, though the name of Mr Gay Focker is a bit over the top, because I assume that very few people in their right mind would call his gay son Lord and those few have a small chance of being blessed with the name Focker was the only thing I could find wrong with the cast of supporting movie.The did a good job and Teri Polo as Pamela Martha Focker Byrnes soon to be (ha ha), Blythe Danner as Dina Byrnes, Owen Wilson as Kevin (Pam, but the Former what seems like the best friend of Jacks) and many more make up a good cast for a DVD film Meet the Parents even better! |
| This movie: Meet the Parents is simply hilarious, one of the best films of Stiller. This is the kind of Meet the Parents movie that has a habit of seeing whether you're a fan of comedies. However, one thing that does not understand, and it is the character of Jack why do not realize that "the hand of Greg" was in fact his son, I mean, I can not see it before? I imagine that would have shelved the whole drug issue. But with the drug issue was a little more humor of the film. Overall, a very good movie. *** **** Stars. |
| I love this Meet the Parents film and is the follow-up "Meet the Fockers." Certainly not the best movie: Meet the Parents ever made-far from it. Nice. I am not a fan of Ben Stiller's. This is 1 of the 4 movies that I like where you are on paper. The other 2 "Night at the Museum" and "There's Something About Mary" is BASICALY played the same role in every DVD film Meet the Parents 3. No one to react to things happening around them and exaggerating. In fact, as the track over the original movie. Another of the original negatives: Owen Wilson 2CD just have to see it briefly in the film. Randy Newman the same old music we've heard in movies over the years and all sound alike. NO MAJOR good extras on the DVD. Hard to feel the Stiller character in the film, either when his character is all the time. Speeding to get back to Jack (DeNiro's) house because of the Jinx? The cat bit lost. YOU WILL NEED THE REACTION OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS OF GREG Speeding and insecurity? |
