| Do not listen to critics. What's wrong with movies be fun and entertaining? people are too serious about the movies they watch. I myself love both drama and comedy, so this was perfect because it was the combination of both. Jennifer Aniston is not miscast, because this is exactly the kind of Rumor Has It... Romance is famous for Jennifer. I am always a little reluctant at first to see their films, because I think I always go to see Rachel Greeene "Friends 1994-2004 on the screen. But I loved it, that was new and fresh, a different kind of romantic comedy said differently. Jennifer has also been in many other "non Rachel" films like "The Good Girl" Rockstar "derailed" and "The Object of my affection. In "Rumor Has It is wonderful and has some very funny moments, Shirley is fabulous. Cosnter Kevin liked me personally, it was great and perfect for the role. I laughed so hard in this film, and saw him 3 times in threatres. Hire, or in his view the end of threatres! I am definitely buying this DVD. |
| "Rumor Has It has all the ingredients quite technical: Good actors, interesting premise (a girl trying to find herself), excellent photography, photos of America and a good score. But leave it in writing and direction. a comedy, is not so funny. Many of the jokes fall flat. In a drama, is simply not active and a lot of what seems forced. The film: Rumor Has It... derails from time to time and the whole "romantic" angle between Costner and Beau of Aniston and Sarah feels Icky seems unconvincing. Jennifer Aniston is in a confusing way Rachel Green (here, except as it is not pleasant and is a little too whiny). Mark Ruffalo does a decent job as the boyfriend support and share a good chemistry with Aniston. The scenes in the beginning are very funny. It's just that the last scene was a little less credible as Jeff seems to have forgiven Sarah too easily. Kevin Costner seems seedy (when the character was not really means it appear that way) and that he and Aniston seem to lack chemistry. Mena Suvari has a meaning and thankless role. I thought the story was very interesting and had some good moments of laughter with the light, but as I said, it could have been better with management. Basically, Sarah is a woman who dedicated home for the wedding of his sister. She remains concerned with why she and her father have never been the same, it seems prudent and personality, but when his aunt, cameo by Kathy Bates, tells about an old flame of his mother, Sarah is why curiosity her grandmother was also attracted to him.
